On December 11th, 2024, PAG Subsea Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "PAG") participated in the Expert Review Meeting on Efficient Storage and Transportation of Natural Gas Hydrate Extraction Gas organized by Guangzhou Gas Group Co., Ltd., successfully addressing challenges and passing the expert review.
During the meeting, Deputy General Manager David Dai of PAG emphasized the significant importance of natural gas hydrate extraction and transportation. He noted that while the process poses challenges, its successful implementation would mark a world-first achievement. He called for national support to advance the initiative. PAG’s presentation garnered high attention from attending leaders and experts. Senior representatives of Guangzhou Gas Group Co., Ltd. stated that they would establish a dedicated project team to systematically address issues related to offshore extraction, transportation to shore, and potential safety regulation adjustments for natural gas hydrate development.
